Hello! I just noticed my modern Game cockerel has a yellow scab over his right ear (picture attached) I picked at it a tiny bit, and it looks like wax, and there’s more lighter stuff under it. My question is do I pull the scab off? I’m pretty sure it will pull some of the protective feathers away/off off the ear. What else should I give him? I’ll be medicating ALL my birds here soon, to help with some snot I’ve been seeing in the younger birds that hatched this year.
He is other wise acting fine. No snot, doesn’t smell sick, (the ear smells bad), and is actually sitting with me outside, on my knee pecking at the letters as I type them on my phone. Thank you!
