Ear Mites

Some of our kitties have a bad case of ear mites. I bought some medicine for them, but to me it seems to have made their ears hurt. They are laying them flat and scratch even worse..What have you guys done for ear mites?

I’ve had a lot of issues with ear mites before. We sent the kittens to their new home with a heads up medications that we bought prior. I don’t know what happened with them. The mother spread it to our other cats and my dog. If I remember correctly I put them all on advantage multi and that took care of it. But of course kittens can’t have that and my vet said the mother couldn’t have it while she was nursing too. We weren’t able to really treat them until after the kittens left. So long story short, advantage multi worked very well.
