He's gorgeous. Are you training him at all? They're as smart as most dogs, ya know ... and a LOT smarter than others (my little fellow, included!)

I've trained him to come when cslled and to grab his carrots with his "hands" instead of just snatching with his mouth. Yes he is very smart. Plan to teach him more soon.

Maybe you should teach him to jump through a little hoop, or to fetch. Heck, see if you can teach him to paint- get some nontoxic paints, or food coloring, and see if you can communicate "dab and wipe your paws on this" somehow. Is he cool enough with handling for you to physically guide him?
Training rats is good for them, it's enrichment! Keeps their little brains entertained.

I've been lurking a bit, just not posting a lot. We've been tag-teaming a really nasty people-virus around here, so it's been crazy. I feel like I personify the line from "Blazing Saddles," you know, ..."I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!"
