Earliest your Silkies has laid?

I'm courious about the time line. My our 12-13 weeks old now. No eggs yet.

I think silkies don't start laying until 6 to 8 months. I could be wrong. I know they mature really slow.

yeah my silkie baby is 8 months old and i still don't have any eggs..... i want her to start laying so i can incubate her eggs and then get rid of my silkie roo! he is such a butt head!

My one roo is crowing already, but the other one is not...

And I keep reading they (pullet/cockieral) do their (crowing/laying) about the same time.

My pullets laid right around 7 months old. They do take longer then normal standard chickens that's for sure. YOu have a while to wait yet.

yup , somewhere between 6-8 months usually for Silkies to lay their first egg.
