Hi BYC-

First time chicken owner of ~5 months here. I have two pullets whose earlobe colors seem to be changing. I'm a bit worried about the olive egger because the color seems to be more yellow (the austra white's ears seems more white). I'm not sure if infectious - don't see any pus or swelling, but want to make sure. They're happening on both sides. Thank you for your input in advance!

Both are "crosses" so they what you are seeing is color leakage.
The Austra White is a cross between a Black Australorp and White Leghorn (or vice versa depending on where they came from) so the earlobe has color leakage.

Same as the EE, I don't know what's in that cross, but likely a white earlobed breed is somewhere in the lineage.
