Early hatching chicks need advice

This isn’t my first incubation I’ve done it for a few years now but I’m no expert. day 18 at night with in 8 hours of lock down we had 2 chicks hatch. 2 more this morning about 12 hours later and 2 more now in the process of hatching with one just externally pipped. I haven’t opened lock down nor needed to ever do it. We still have 12 more eggs with no pip I’ve watched the eggs get rolled by the current 4 chicks a lot so I believe most of them are not pipped yet. My question is knowing 48 hours is about the longest you want to go without food and water for newly hatched chicks. What do I do with the chicks when the eggs that probably won’t hatch for another 2 days. I want to take them out but am concerned with shrink rapping the existing chicks that have externally pipped. Thanks for any advice.

Alright I figured but I didn’t want to possibly kill any so I had to make sure mostly everything I’ve read says don’t open until all hatch. I do appreciate it and it’s not like I’m going to open it up for longer than 30 seconds but I had to make sure lol. Thanks for the reinsurance.

You can easily take the chicks out quickly without any problems as long as none have external pipped. Sometimes it helps to throw a damp paper towel in as you remove the chicks to up the humidity. Good luck!😊.
