Early June 2023 OE or EE x OE/M ; Cockerel?

Dad is an olive x marans. Mom is either easter or olive. I cant remember if it hatched from blue or green egg. Anyway just by size and characteristics im thinkin roo. Just want confirmation

Based on comb color, neck feathers and coloration, I’m guessing cockrel.

I was hoping so, his dad is on chopping block soon. Hes a good roo but his characteristics of offspring are not what im wanting. 90% of hatchlings come out / grow up to be black. Thats no matter what hen he fertilized.
