Not sure what is up with this batch of meat birds we have. They are cornish crosses.. They were supposed to be vaccinated for coccidiosis at day olds. They are 2 weeks today and we have lost three so far out of 50. They seem to have issues with their legs splaying out at the hips and have a hard time walking. Some are fine and some are splayed badly at one hip. Then seem to recover or die. Is this too fast of growth feed issue or would it be disease? They are on food all day and night, its a non GMO chick veggie grower.

I used newspaper for the first week and now wood chips. I did a little more reading sounds like it may have been hip damage from slipping. ARGH!! Does that mean any with splayed legs should be culled cause a few seemed to recover but I am guessing as they get older it will be an issue again?
