Usually it my rule when incubating, that once there's a pip, i stay out of the incubator for at least two days. I usually also move the eggs from the turner, to egg cartons on day 18, for hatching. Well, i thought today was day 18, but when i opened the incubator, i found that two of them had already pipped. I'm pretty sure that this is THE recipe for shrink wrap. Is there anything i can do at this point (before i leave the house for 12 hours) to help those two chicks? Or should i just hope for the best and see how they are this evening? Love to hear your thoughts.

I'm probably a bit late, seeing you posted a few hours ago already. Just keep the humidity high, 65%+ and leave the incubator shut, so the humidity stays constant. I've been caught out the same way and even hatched some chicks at 45% humidity, due to unexpected early bird hatches in the past. The chicks were fine in spite of that, so don't worry. Good luck with your hatch!
