Does anyone else think that chicks voices turn kind of.. robotic?
It sounds a little like it's being fed through a speaker as they get older.

I don't think I've ever had one change at 2 weeks before!
Anyone think this could be a correlation to being a rooster?
We've been pretty sure this one was from the start, but holding onto some hope. (RIR mix)

Now at just over two weeks old its voice is VERY tinny. No crowing yet.
Anyone else think that's weird? Rooster for sure?
I know how its standing here doesn't help. lol

i do know with ducks their voice turns cracky or even robotic at teen ages.2 weeks there will be no crowing. She could have possible breathing problems,or has sore throat.

From the picture, honestly the tail curl makes it look like a rooster.I would say he is a little cockeral.

No breathing problems. I know several of my chickens have had the 'tinny' voice before, but I really only found info on ducks when searching! Hah. But yeah. I just thought it was so weird since I'm sure it didn't happen before 4 weeks on my other chicks.
