Okay so my beautiful Daisy (ewe) has her first born, two little lambs a. Boy and a girl.
I’ve already sold them and they left a deposit and I give them when they are completely weaned.
Now they where born on Feb 2 2020 at 1:31 pm

QUESTIONS...
So when is the absolute earliest I can wean them

Is the mom going to be depressed when they leave? She is super attached to them and when we get them inside for a checkup she freaks out and almost injured herself banging the d'or and screaming for a LONG TIME. And it may seem stupid but animals have feelings too...

so how’s the best way to separate them slowly

also what do you recomend when weaning a lamb how do I do it.

Here are some photos for fun :)

I am no expert on sheep, my experience is with goats, but in this case it may be close enough. I would not wean them before eight weeks, but in the case of lambs I think twelve would be better. Make sure they are eating hay and grain well before they go to their new homes. As it gets close to weaning time, you could separate them at night and put them back with the ewe during the day. Or the reverse. Make sure they have their CD/T shots. If you haven't done it before do it now.

well they are eating grain perfectly drinking water and eating hay, I wish I could do it earlier though. Thank you :)

They should really have milk until they are at least eight weeks. Why the hurry?
Since they are sold I’d like to give them to the person ASAP. And not only that but since I do have to keep an eye on them it’s a little bit much for me
