Anyone know if chickens get worms by eating worms? The thought of worms make my skin crawl! Haha...what's a good preventative if any... So grossed about worms in any of my animals!

Mine eat earthworms anywhere they can find them and I've never seen any evidence of worms in their poop. If you are worried, pumpkin is an awesome wormer, especially the seeds. If you cut a pumpkin in half and lay it out for them to eat on, it'll be gone in no time and they will be wormed. :) I have some pumpkins growing in the garden for that very purpose. (You can also use medicinal wormers, like Safeguard, but you can't eat the eggs while they are on it or for awhile after.)

Our 6 month bantams turn their noses up at earth worms too. They love the white curl grubs I find for them but I think the earthworms may be a little too long for them. I would think that if I were to cut them up for them, they would love them...spoilt little girls!
