Try FB. I have had luck with it. Just search the breed and if you check those sites regularly and read all comments you might find someone.

I wish I had better news. I would rather go to a hatchery or farm and buy local. But if you're getting day-olds, shipping is the most likely solution.

You can find lots of chicks and adults on Craigslist. That’s where I’ve gotten my current rooster and show quality silkies really lovely birds. Just make sure to read up on what you want because some people try to sell the wrong thing by accident.

Thanks everyone! I have scoured fb and craigslist both. A lot on there but...not what I'm looking for. I'm thinking I may just order online after scouring through reviews and researching the company lol not trying to be annoying or picky but I want to start my breeding pairs off on quality birds that give what I'm breeding for. Really though BYC should organize this forum..or do subcategories or something. Very painstaking trying to thumb through them when not everyone puts location in the title. Plus I have iffy service so it takes a lifetime to get through a few of them and I just give up. Ugh!

I like craigslist and have gotten good quality birds and bad from it. My silkies are amazing and costed me around $20 a piece for chicks while my EE rooster mix costed me $5 and is bad quality but he’s pretty. Just keep looking and you’ll find what you want you just have to be patient. The time of year is also not ideal for baby chicks.
