Cute, but still don't know what breed they are since they are so young yet. I only have one bantam rooster and he thinks he rules the roost as her girl friends are all standard sized hens. His favorites are the black sex link and a golden laced brahma.

I was thinking that too. If so, the larger dark chick is probably a cockerel.

I don't think I've seen chicks like that. They do look large, but can't really tell. Marans also have that feathered shank, but they are not a standard color if so. Mixes? Where did you get them?

Hey y'all! I have 4 red cochin bantams available that hatched Jan 4th and they need homes ASAP! They are 2 pullets and 2 cockerels. I'm willing to split into two pairs at $25/pair or $40 for all to cover some of the cost of buying them back from an irresponsible(and greedy) person I had previously sold them to. They were hatched from lines which have been recently discontinued. They have obvious no DQs at this age. I forgot to get photos of feet and skin but can do so if requested.
