Hey everyone, I'm Oraien. Joined the forums here and the site as it seems there's a lot of info to be had about chooks and similar birds and I am currently contemplating getting a few coturnix quail. I found the site looking for potential sources of coturnix in Uniontown, PA and figured I might as well join and read up on everything I could find while I was here.

I've never raised quails or chickens before- though I helped a neighbor with coturnix when I was much younger. Right now it seems like a good fit for my tiny little family to have a few and I'm just information gathering. I'd like to be able to decide within the next month on whether it's the right choice because it seems like there is a final swap in my area in November and that might be a good place to get some young ones.

Any information, links or anything would be quite helpful.

Nice to meet you all.

Oraien

Glad you joined us!
Quails are lovely and their eggs are so delicious. They also don't need a lot of space.
