East Tennessee newbies

Hi:)
We bought a place outside if the city and have been slowly learning new mini homesteading:) We had a successful year with growing food for 2, canning and prepping.
Now we are ready to start the chicken adventure which was always part of the plan, We learned our counties ordinances, spoke to the neighbors and doing a lot of research.
My husband will build a coop for 10 chickens (eventually 10, Will start off with 6 perhaps) and a run. In addition, he will build mobile runs as we have a a half acre for them:)

Thanks for adding me here. Looks like a really great space for like minded people.

Happy Homesteading! Once you have chickens you never go back. You just get more chickens! haha.
