I can see the headlines now in the Maryville, Alcoa Daily Missprint: Chicken Trafficking in Parking Lot behind CrackerBarrell. Officers hid behind cars until they saw money and rooster changing hands, then the cuffs came out. Alleged culprits, identified only as Bibliophile Birds and Possumblossum were dragged, handcuffed, to waiting cruisers crying, "We're innocent, we're innocent" as onlookers cheered. Captured rooster, recently named Marbles was taken to the animal shelter, awaiting bail. City and county officials praised the quick action and teamwork of Maryville/Alcoa/Blount County police officers in closing down this hideous crime. Reporter: kcsunshine

1) rock slide is on 64, further south near ducktown

2) My wife's family is from Murphy, so that's what we call everything in SW NC.

3) When the cops saw me, they'd just say, "Davis, what'd you do this time?"

....You'd all get a clean get away.

I can't believe none of you expressed concern for Marbles at the animal shelter. I'm sure he won over their hearts and had the best snacks in the place.

Thanks for the invite, Justin! Unfortunately I am moving soon and don't have the extra money to drive down this time. Let me know if there is a chicken swap any time soon as I am looking to start my flock when we get settled in the new house. I do plan to go to the Western NC swap!
