I have an EE she runs the coop. She bosses the others around even my Giant Black. She calls the rest of the flock out and in at night.

She is obviously the flock leader and the boss of your hens!! My flock leader was like that even as a chick in the brooder. She would scream for all the chicks to get on the roost bar, go to sleep, wake up, eat, everything. LOL

I agree EEs are not dumb - mine is really smart and the leader. My LB cockerel follows her around and waits for her to decide everything.

She is also affectionate and flies up to be on me - usually angling to get on my head! It is hard to get a picture of that, tho! She is learning "up" so it isn't too hard to get her off.
