Easter Egger almost 5 week old.

Thoughts on if this is a hen or a roo.

Still a bit young to tell for sure. Try posting again in a few weeks. Should be able to tell better by then. But that said, I am leaning towards girl for now. But won’t be able to be sure until it’s older.
 
I would post again around 7-8 weeks. I agree, looks more like a pullet right now but too early to tell.
 
So far it looks like a pullet to me. Easter Eggers are hard to sex at an early age as they don't get the waddles like other breeds. (Yes, I know easter egger is NOT a breed) I've had some fool me for months! The telltale signs are the feathers, those hackle feathers around the neck and the saddle feathers just before the tail. They get long and pointy while the girls are rounded. It's a very pretty chicken, Good luck! :D

I thought it would be too early but first time chicken owner so I was curious cause it’s bigger then the others and it’s comb is turning pink lol! So excited to see. Thank you :)

That makes sense!! I was sooo impatient my first chicks haha it’s comb still looks pale to me compared to how my boy’s combs have looked at that age haha but time will tell.
