Easter Egger chick colors?

This girl looks more like a roo to me? I would keep my eye on her.

I have an EE girl who looks just like that. I thought in the beginning she was a male, even had a large curved feather in her tail, which thankfully fell out and no more appeared. She has a hen's tail now and lays extra large greenish blue eggs.

That's what I was hoping would happen with Beluga, the black & white EE in the picture. But those red patches coming in on his shoulders are a dead giveaway.

I have an EE rooster who was a singleton (a test egg in with shipped eggs in the incubator) who was the spitting image of his MOTHER as a chick....He looked exactly like a girl....hmmmm his actions were sort of different...but hey, he was a singleton...right? Then his permanent feathers came in black.

Oh, well, he's a nice rooster.....(sigh)

This little one started off yellow with a little grey on her head. Is she going to change much more than this?

Sounds like a carbon copy of my Agatha! She was bright yellow with a tiny, soft charcoal smudges - one on her back and one on her head.

This is Agatha now -

When I chose this year's chicks, I deliberately looked for one that looked just like Agatha did. At 12 weeks, Frog (granddaughter named her) looks like Aggie but she is a little more golden with a little less white - but not much!

She is beautiful! This my first and only EE, so I love making guesses on what she might look like fully grown.
