Easter Egger Chicks

After some eye drops and care, these girls* are all better! To celebrate, we had a little photoshoot- I think they turned out decent! They don’t have names just yet, but I should have some soon. I really look forward to seeing how their color develops!

*unconfirmed! The black and grey chicks were sexed but the rest were not. I have my suspicions of a rooster or two, but as we have a good sized flock with no roosters right now I’m not too worried!
 
Every year I buy at least 2 Easter egger s and pick out the most unique colored ones. So fun to watch them grow! This year chick shopping was a lot of firsts for me! Saphire Olive egger! Saphire splash olive egger! Cuckoo marans! Midnight marans! Buckeyes! Pearl star leghorns! I now have so many chicks I have never even seen at a feed store. I can’t wait for my rainbow of an egg basket!
