Easter Egger club!

Love this thread. I don't even have chickens yet, but I'm getting some Speckled Sussex Hens. I love seeing the pics of your Easter Eggs though. Is it okay if I'm sort of a half-member who just overlooks the pics? Do you guys think it's okay?

Sure! Stalkers are a sign that a thread is really awesome

I was a "lurker" (sounds better and safer than a stalker) for over a year before I got my first chickens. I found it a great source of information and consider it a part of my pre-owner education. In fact, still learning from the experienced and generous people on this site.

Of course!!! I actually was not even planning on including EEs in my first little flock I have now, but this thread was one of the things that changed my mind.

I even dared to think I didn't like the muffs on EEs. Now one of mine (the one I posted about the other day) has CHEEKS FOR DAYS and it melts my heart into a puddle.

OK, So that means no F'lar for your Lessa. I guess you could get a golden goose and name her Ramoth...
Omg I love those books. Read and listened to all 20 some? At least 3 times!
My babies are two weeks old and still doing great. Does their wing pattern/color now mean anything for the final feathers?

Can't wait till I can tell how many girls/boys I have. Only have room for one roo and thats pushing it as it is.
My favorites too, I have probably read most if not all of them (I don't care as much for her son's though). I only own what I call the "main series".

As far as a chick's 'feather' pattern is concerned, it's a crap shoot as to whether their final look will be the same.

I feel the same way about the sons!
