Easter Egger club!

I have a Pumpkin also, my others are named Cookie, Chicka and Flash. Pumpkin is orange, Cookie looked like an Oreo as a chick, Chicka looks like she's wearing some major eyeliner and Flash is just super fast!

My neighbors dog killed all her pullets except for the 1 EE in this pic. She was given to me because the enclosure was destroyed and my elderly neighbor is devastated. I went out today & got her 2 buddies ( light brahma & welsummer ). They will be in quarantine for a while & when old enough get integrated into the flock. This is my first EE. She is very social. Not the best pic but it was taken right after the intro.

That's just great! Another crazy chicken people club to join.

Ok, so here they are;
This is Bunny, she is was our first EE. She has been laying small lite green eggs. She was laying an egg every other day for about 3 weeks then she stopped. Hasn't laid an egg in 2 weeks....

This is our Hermione. Everyone tells me that she is an EE, but no eggs yet....Fingers crossed.

, Hermione is one of the first in the flock to let us hold or touch her, she is very sweet.

This is the newest addition to our flock, she is big and beautiful. We haven't come up with a name yet, any suggestions?
Bunny and the newbie are very nervous and skittish... Is this an EE trait?

EErs, coming from a mix of breeds, can be really variable in temperament from my admittedly limited experience. If you haven't had them very long, they may just still be skittish about that. Or they might be really skittish post dog attack. My 5 red girls were extremely tamed down (they weren't handled when I got them as coming 3yos) but after the dog attack, they are STILL running away from me. Maybe that's best...they're more resistant to predators that way.

She looks like Cruella Di Vil from the 101 Dalmatians. Beautiful fowl.
Wow, I forgot about her...that is an awesome thought. She is purdy! It was a funny thing I noticed when I brought these two girls home from the Norco meet-up, 2 different breeds from different people on the same day;

Our new Brahma....... Our new EE....
The same pattern; freaky...
