This is my 10 month old EE, Agnes (on the right, if you can't tell ;) ) She's a bit timid but has a very sweet, docile nature.
Her little cheek tufts crack me up.

She's beautiful. You're lucky that your black and white EE is a hen too. The majority of the ones that color turn out to be roosters.

And, yeah, aren't those little poofie cheeks just the most adorable thing? ^_^

I didn't know that. I love her coloring. And yes, those Poofie little cheeks make me want to stuff her full of treats (I resist :p). She lays beautiful jumbo-sized lt olive colored eggs. She gets along with all the other chickens.

I have one with the same color pattern but she doesn't have tufts. I really like that pattern though. Mine lays a large bright aqua colored egg.

Oh, Aqua. That sounds lovely. I'll check your profile for a pic of her and/or her eggs. I want too see :)

I agree that EEs have a wonderful personality. Looking at you with an inquisitive eye and happy when you pay attention to them. The poofie whiskers are so quite. When my EEs first got the red face, it looked liked an old lady missed putting on her lipstick and smeared it over the lips. So funny and cute. Would get 6 more if local laws allowed.

Yesterday a local guy was liquidating his rather large flock so I went to just look. 6 EE (2 are rump less) 1 buff chanctler, and 3 white muscovies later I went home. I'll get some pics today. He called the EE americanas which I know was wrong but the two rump less girls do look a bit different ...maybe the actually are.
