Got a bar across his eyes to help hid his identity. LOL

You can tell something was there. Could some one else be plucking them out? Mites? I don't know why they are missing and I hope it grows back for you

I agree with you I think that someone has been pecking at him pulling them out! That is if there are not mites present. I would just watch and see if anymore feathers end up missing

Very pretty bird. She doesn't have any chin fluff though. Is that normal for EEs based on what they're mixed with? Yours looks a lot like a gold laced wyandotte....do you think that's what she's mixed with?
Mine show no indication of growing neck fluff and one of them actually looks very much like a barred rock with green legs.

Pretty sure both of these were from our Wellsummers, daddy is a Black COpper Marans" Ameraucana Silkie mix. So hey are a generation removed from anything with a blue egg gene, I wouldn't consider them EE's. We hatched both of these girls and we have no Wyandottes, so definitely not LOL.

Thank you and yes I am going to Keep Charlie this way he can project his flock and he is my buddy he likes to talk with me and watch me... I will take more pics of Charile he is bit bigger now he has some light gold ok his neck now with the black and he has Cheek tuff make him looking so cute.
