Oh thanks for the reply.It depends on the rooster. I had one that started to crow at 5 weeks. My cockerel now is 18 weeks and has not crowed yet. He is starting to dance around the pullets so I'm sure it is coming soon.

I had one that didn't crow tell he was 6 half months and another @ 19 weeks. So yes each one is different! The one who took the longest we had from day 2 of age but never really let us cuddle him much always stayed distance and started to flog my youngest child. He passed and we ended up with a new one much nicer and crows very little except for the morning!About how many weeks before my roo starts to crow they are 14 or 15 weeks old now.
