sav a chick makes probiotic packets. electrolytes only keep them hydrated. if you can't find probiotics, yogurt also works. keep their butts clean in the meantime

tmrutter3 I know what you mean about not being able to eat your chickens. Don't think I can do that either. Maybe if I was mad at an aggressive one but other then that don't think so. Your roos are real cute. The chicken chick sells a rooster collar if you ever have roos you can't part with. Might try one out myself. I don't know if I can part with this guy! I just love him. He's so funny in this picture.

Thank you! We do have some of the collars that we ordered from my pet chicken, they really do help. You meant the no crow collar right? We have about 14 roosters, so it would be very expensive for the collars & to feed them. I keep hoping to find a home for them.

Where can I get probiotics? This is the first time I have had this happen. I've had pasty butt, but it only lasted a few days
