Murry McMurray and Meyer both ship all over the country.I'm eastern-ish US if I name the state it will identify the hatchery and until I see how nicely they resolve the issue (which I was supposed to receive a call from a manager this morning and it's now 3pm where I am I doubt they are going to make this right) I don't want to publicly name them. Does the hatchery you mention ship? I'm willing to pay shipping but some hatcheries charge more for the shipping than the pullet!

So my local hatchery which right now will remain nameless just royally screwed me on my order of Easter Egger started pullets that I ordered and paid for 6 months ago. Apparently they tell you that you can pick up your order any time between business hours but they failed to tell me it was a first come first serve basis and they over sell and if you come at the end of the day your order is already gone instead of going by order number. Anyway now I am looking for reputable places in the US to order Easter Eggers that carry started pullets since now I am 6 months behind on raising chicks..... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
aaaww!!!! Look how big already!?! I'm soo jealous!! I want some soo bad! I love seeing them though!!Here are my EE's with their weekly updated pics... Sophia, here at 3 weeks old today, is our brown EE. She is doing great and just blends into the group. She is friendly when she wants to be, and otherwise is talkative and strong willed. [/COLOR] Dorothy, here at 4 weeks old, is a sort of grayish brown color. She is beautiful in my opinion, and she is just sweet and gentle. She seems to be growing like a weed!

And the princess of them all, Rose, who is 11 weeks old today, is our all white EE. She is the friendliest and we think is the reigning alpha hen among her flock outside. I am currently in the middl of introductions between the indoor younger chicks and the 4 older checks we have outside. And while we might be top chicken, she could really care less about the young chicks. No pecks so far from her.

If you are in the coop for more than two minutes, its a sure bet that she'll end up on your back and shoulders. Here she was contemplating making the jump to my shoulder.
Hi and welcome to BYC i am glad you could join us. You have some nice lookin birds there. Hope you have made yourself at home and asking as many questions as neededMay I join here?I have 3 EE pullets in my flock of 21. These are our first chickens. They are almost 11 weeks old. This is Osh-Kosh. She had us thinking maybe she was a cockerel for a while. She is the most shy of the 3.
This is Eleanor. She has the fluffiest muffs and beard. She has recently become more curious and friendly. I was really hoping she would. She was the first chick I picked out when we started.
Holly is the chick in the middle here. This is a terrible picture of her. She is similar to Eleanor, but has a single comb and blue instead of black on her lower half.
I need to get better pics. These are just from my album and are about 3 weeks old. I love my EEs. They are all pretty shy. But, I feel some of that has to do with having 10 BR. They take over with the socializing and always want to be held. It doesn't leave much room for the shy chicks to come say hi, when I have 10 more outgoing chickens jumping all over. I was pleased to see Eleanor and Holly make their way through last night and come sit on my boots for a few. Love seeing all the cute chicks here and age progressions!
Is it normal for an EE that usually lays dark green eggs to then go and lay these really light blue eggs? Thanks
