Easter Egger club!

Well, he is an Easter Egger, so a mixed comb for a mixed bird is not unreasonable. I hope there is 'pea' in it because as I understand it that is supposed to be linked to the blue egg gene, Which I would most definitely want in the Roo that may be helping to keep up my flock!

And I think "howl" is gorgeous, whatever he/she is! It should be interesting to see how he/she feathers out. Please keep us informed.
Well strawberry comb and cushion comb have rose and pea to get that effect . There is a link with pea comb and blue eggs . However you can have blue eggs with any comb . Cream Legbar are single comb with blue eggs . In EE pea comb is a good indicator of blue egg gene but it is not absolute .

When do EE Roos get their spurs? I have 3 and I'm not sure one is really a hen. What are some signs to let me know if it is a roo?
