EE chicks that are siblings can be any color. Unfortunately there really is no auto sexing most EE lines. This spring I hatched 12 EE from a friend, 2 black(1 roo,1 pullet)1 white(roo) and 9 shades of brown(5 roo,4 pullets). Her flock is 1 roo over 3 hens so at least some were full siblings.I am fairly new to this site and chickens so I apologize if this question has already been answered but I was wondering if you have a male and a female with similar coloring, will all their chicks have their coloring or can each chick have different coloring? I have read that easter eggers come in all different colors and was wondering if one hen can have chicks with different coloring.
Generally they will be similarly colored, but recessive genes can always switch things up.I am fairly new to this site and chickens so I apologize if this question has already been answered but I was wondering if you have a male and a female with similar coloring, will all their chicks have their coloring or can each chick have different coloring?
