Easter egger egg bound? Broody?

Ok I gave her the Tylan 50 earlier and she is finally eating and drinking like she is starving..I guess so she hasn't eaten anything since night before last. This is a good sign I hope. I will give her more Tylan before she goes to bed and twice a day for five days and hope she gets better. I'm still worried but happy to see her eating and drinking. I will keep you updated on her progress.

How long after I stop giving her the Tylan should I toss the eggs if she happens to lay any? I know while she is taking the antibiotics I can't eat them but luckily my comets are producing 4-5 a day and that will be plenty for now.

For oral use of Tylan egg withdrawal is 1 day, and 7 days for injecting it. After finishing Tylan give her some probiotics, or a small amount of buttermilk or plain yogurt for a few days to bump up her beneficial gut bacteria. Good luck.

Honestly when I got chickens for eggs I thought I wouldn't care this much about them but as soon as one gets sick I immediately run to the feed store and spend 50 bucks on medicine and electrolytes and other stuff I never thought I would buy.

I appreciate everybody's help and will continue to monitor her and let everyone know how she is doing. I was really concerned she might have given it to my other EE's but they are acting normal and eating and drinking very good. They are new to me so they are still a little skiddish going from free range to coop/run and a new owner. I'm wondering if the stress of the move might have made this worse?

Stress can bring about respiratory symptoms, especially if the chicken has ever been exposed to a chronic respiratory disease. And yes, they really get to you after after them as pets more so when you have been treating one who doesn't feel well..
