I have a 7 week old Easter Egger rooster that, right now, is feathering in solid white. Will he stay white or will that change as he gets older?

He will stay white. If he has any sort of black or grey pencilling on his wings, though - He'll have golden hackles and red splashing. Otherwise, he'll stay a beautiful white.

I don't have any experience with EEs as mine are only 4 weeks old... however I have one EE that was solid pale yellow as a chick (actually thought it was a BO until I noticed it had green legs and started turning white instead of that Buff color) Now she has some buff coloration on her neck and the rest of her is still white. She's so pretty and had a friendly temperament. Do you have a picture of your roo for others to help out with his color?

Illia, thanks for your response-nope he has not a drop of another color on him. He is gorgeous!

Yeah, guess a pic would help, wouldn't it? Will go try to snap his pic.
Thanks!

Can you tell anything from this pic? He kept running from the camera smooshing my little Pyncheons so I had to settle for this one.

Yep, white EE! Congrats - The only whites I ever had were pullets who sadly died before 3 months of age.
