What makes your think that? The one has the red on the wings (I'been told that's a sign) but the other one doesn't yet. What else can I look for?

The red on the wing some times doesn't show up for a couple more weeks. The main thing that makes me say cockerel is the size and pinkness of the combs.

what I look at in EE's is the color of the down feathers they have when they are little...and I can still see the down on yours...and I see that they were sliver "chipmunk" color...usually the more showy colors like silver chipmuck are roos and the more dull colors like brown and black are pullets.

Both 2-3 weeks here. Is this the color you mean? You could tell they were roos by this color?
