the first bird is not an easter egger its a polish mix unless it was mixed with a pure ameraucana it wouldnt be an easter egger

EE's can sometimes have crests...maybe it had some different breeds in the ancestry such as polish x ameraucana...but EE's are a grab bag

The seller said it's a pullet and I hope it is. It's 3 months old. Kind of acts like a cockerel in that it's more energetic and curious compared to my other pullets (like my previous cockerel) and because, while it doesn't instigate fights, it won't back down when one of my pullets that's almost twice its size does start one (as opposed to my other EE who doesn't fight back at all).

Thanks to everyone who tried to help but it's actually a cockerel lol, he's been crowing for about a month and I drove him to his new home today
