Silver and black is usually a male EE coloring, however it can be female. There are no wing bars, and looking closely, I'm not seeing clear hackle or saddle feathers. The tail looks a bit sad and not fully developed, but I'm not seeing curling masculine tail feathers either.
I'm leaning to female...if it is 16 weeks or older.
That's a bit more red comb, than I'd like, but could be the hormones coming on for a hen entering pubescence....although EEs typically mature around 5 months.
If this is around 12 weeks, then I think male with slowly developing male feathers.
