Imminent signs of lay (a week or two) include submissive squatting in front of you (more so if you do not have a cock bird) and checking out the nesting boxes.
 
A lot depends on feeding program and age of bird in relation to summer solstice. Higher protein feed/FF and onset of puberty around summer solstice may have her laying at 16 weeks. Onset of puberty after summer solstice and lower protein will push POL back. Then, there's the genetics.
