Easter Egger Lays First Egg But Its Brown?

I’m super upset I didn’t get blue or green. Will that color be her primary egg color now or will it change over time?

She will always lay brown eggs. The shade of brown may vary but not enough to turn the egg blue or green. It will still be just as delicious to eat!

Easter Eggers are crosses, and egg color can vary. She's not going to produce blue or green eggs, sorry.
A perfect excuse to get a couple or three more, increasing the odds that you will get those colored eggs!
