I bought these two chicks from a lady at a local chicken swap. She was selling them as "Easter Eggers" and "Olive Eggers". When I asked her about parentage, she told me the white chick was from a cream legbar roo and a legbar hen (not specified), and that the brown chick was from the same cream legbar roo and an olive egger hen. I am aware that both EE's and OE's are mixed breeds and can be a variety of colors from a varied background, but I am wondering if the information provided matches what they look like now, and maybe what I can expect them to look like later. I would think a chick parented by two legbars (even if different colors) would still be a legbar rather than an EE??
Hershey, the brown chick, is about 3 weeks old and is developing some barring on chest and wing feathers. I'm not sure about sex... comb looks to be enlarging a little.

Mabel, the white chick, is about 4 weeks old. I am thinking she is a pullet.

Both are EEs, really no way to classify them as OEs unless you know their heritage. Plus, EEs can lay green.
I think the first is male.
I’ve a sneaky suspicion you are correct about Hershey being male... was hoping I was wrong as I have too many cockerels already lol. “He”
does have feathered legs so I was wondering if maybe there was some BCM in there somewhere...?
