This comb and color is throwing me off? Choices are between an Easter Egger Bantam hen and a light Brahma hen. Rooster is a black or blue silkie.
I’m thinking it’s the Brahma hen because of the size of these guys but where’s the color coming from?

That is not a Brahma hen. The colors are definitely of an Easter egger as a light Brahma hen would be simply black and white.

What size is he? If he's pretty big then the Brahma hen would have to be the mother. If he's the size of a Silkie or smaller, then the Easter egger bantam is likely his mother.
Definitely what I thought. He’s really big actually. Black feet and 5 toes so for sure the silkies the dad. His color has got me puzzled though.

But regardless wouldn’t the black and blue of the silkie father cover the white of the Brahma. Or even the Easter Egger?

Not, not necessarily. Silkies are known for having hidden color genetics that don't show. The father might've had some genes for partridge.
I have noticed the black silkie rooster has some gold coming out in his hackles. Makes sense. Tricky little things 🤯
