I’m truly confused now, lol - I’m hoping it’s a pullet - the kids were all about the colored eggs. I told my 5 year old daughter we would have a hen laying colored eggs - hope daddy didn’t accidentally not tell the truth.

I’d be leaning towards cockerel as well. Hard to see with the bad lighting, but it appears to have red leakage over the shoulders, and those tail feathers look an awful lot like my 14 week old EE who has bloomed into a big shiny boy... I thought it was a pullet up until about 2 weeks ago, when he started to crow.

The kids are going to be upset - that will make 3 Roos out of 10 so far which probably means more...

No guarantee til it crows or lays an egg though! Lol. You can get some pretty feminine cockerels and masculine pullets so all you can do is wait, especially with these guys cuz they all look so different.
i feel your pain. I had 6/6 ducklings that hatched, all male. Bought 5 chicks from someone locally. Yep, ALL boys. Hatched 2 sebright? Both look male. I did manage to hatch a Legbar pullet though. Haha.
