Easter Egger - Pullet or Roo?

This Easter egger is about 3 months old. We can’t figure out 100% if it’s a pullet or a rooster… any ideas? Thank you all!!!

We were confused because the comb is pretty red and the tail feathers curve slightly.

My EE looks pretty similar. I also don’t see any saddle feathers!

Are you sure it’s only 3 months old? Because a female won’t be that red that young. The pointy saddle feathers start coming in around 12 weeks, so he might not have them quite yet.

I think I see pointy hackle feathers, a sure sign of male traits, before those saddle feathers come in. And this bird also is showing saddle feathers, and that red comb. Cockerel.

3 months. So around 12 weeks old?

I'm going with cockerel. Comb is way too swollen and red for that age to be a pullet. Also, if I zoom in, I believe I see pointy hackle feathers which is male specific.

Edited to add: After a 2nd look, I see red feathers coming in on the shoulders so I'm 100% positive it's a cockerel. Sorry!
