Hello,
Can anyone help identify gender of one of our Easter Eggers? It is 8 weeks old and has always been one of the largest of our chicks, with very large legs. We thought it was a cockerel early on, but now we aren’t so sure? What do you guys think?

Awesome! We read if they have a black head they’re probably cockerels. Also she doesn’t take crap from the known roosters we have. If a rooster tries to peck at her, she stands up for herself and will chase the rooster around the run. She walks around very upright and with confidence!

Ok, one more! We think this one may be a little guy, even though his comb isn’t as red as the other males. He’s also 8 weeks old

Colors say pullet if it's also a Easter Eggers. Boys are usually a more flashy color and often has red over the wings. Girls are plain so they blend in.
