I have a black and white EE (almost 6 weeks) that I’m pretty sure is a roo. But it doesn’t have any red or orange spots coming in. ETA pictures

Except for the size of her feet I don’t see anything showing cockerel yet.

The shape of her comb doesn't say "cockerel". I'm pretty sure 6 weeks is too young for the "rooster red" to show up.

Looks like a pullet to me.

I'm not necessarily sold on the darker one being a cockerel. Looks like a single row comb and I've had pullets with a bit more red comb than others (which yes made me nervous!).

Oh the plot thickens! Cookie is the sweetest of the bunch without a doubt. Gets picked up no less than 5 times every time we let them out by my boys and flies up on my shoulder to hang out when I go in the run. I keep thinking that signature red on the wings will show up any minute but maybe not!

Coloring looks like a pullet from what I’ve read and seen from others. But the legs do look pretty thick. Maybe just a bigger legged pullet?

I’ve been reading through this thread (I’m up to the 130s, so still lots to go. ) Based on plumage & patterning, I’m guessing this one is a poult. It’s the smallest of the 3 and I’ve always assumed was a girl.
