Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Hello again, I have some new photos of the trickster Marilyn. Marilyn is the smallest of my Easter Eggers now. The comb has only changed slightly and now the other “girls” are getting pinker combs. We are at about 9 weeks.
Looks like a girl!

I’m not concerned about the other two. Penny has been easy from the start. Henrietta had a bit more of a comb at first but it looks quite small and barely pinkish right now. I guess I haven’t photographed Henrietta in awhile. She hasn’t changed much but has a nice fluffy beard. 😀

Here’s Henrietta and the signature Henrietta stink-eye.

Thanks for the update!
Haven't changed my guesses. Marilyn looks like a cockerel. Henrietta is still up in the air. The comb is a bit suspicious, but not enough to call it just yet.
To me they are all pullets until the cockerel traits show. Some show early, some later... and some stay pullets!
Here is Marilyn’s first egg. She still has a bigger comb than my other Easter eggers and more red on her face. She was definitely a tricky one, but gives hope to others pullets with more unusual characteristics.

Congratulations! That's a good sized egg for the first one.
Thank you! Our first eggs from our chicks have come from our Sapphire Gems and they are even bigger. Marilyn probably thinks she has to keep up, haha.

Congrats on the first Marilyn egg Anna. Either you have very tiny hands or your chickens hold out on the first egg until they can produce a big one! I've never had a hen's first egg be anything bigger than USDA small and mostly they are not even that big. Takes a month or two for them to hit what will be normal for them.
