She is now 7 weeks. Is she still looking girly?

I would give her a definite "probably".

Legs aren't thick, comb is small and appears to be a single row, the neck feathers are rounded, the brownish red is not just on the "Shoulder" part of the wing nor is it the mahogany red I've seen in other pictures that were cockerels.

I think you are going to have a very pretty girl.

Bruce

Of course I know NOTHING! because I've only had chickens for 7 months but hopefully learned enough about sexing chickens from all the BYC posts on the topic that I won't freak over "girl or boy, girl or boy" with the next set of chicks (whenever that is).

Week 8 update. you all were right, the orange color is coming in more places now than just the shoulders. I am pretty well satisfied that she is indeed a girl and I am so excited because her beard is getting huge!

I have three EE's that I am not sure of the sex. This is Earthquake, I think it's a HE. EQ was born Dec 21st, so he is 5 1/2 weeks old. Daddy is an EE and Mama I believe to be a Production Red.

Any guesses??

These two buff/cream colored EE's are Christmas babies, so that makes them 5 weeks old. I'm thinking these two are girls.
