Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

So They are six weeks now. I have been told that they are Pullets but I just want to be sure (if possible). If anyone can tell me their opinion I would be very grateful

Number one is Sister, she is dark with lighter areas popping through now




The second one is Miss V. She is the really big one with the beautiful beard.



The third one is Gibi, I have heard talk about Gray being a sign of a cockerel.




I don't see any large Combs yet. But I am so new to this that I would not recognize it if I did.

I do not see any obvious signs of roos, so they may all be pullets.

6 week old EE. Supposed to be one of three pullets. Is there any chance that this is a she, with that coloring? He/she has one very clear row of peas and two barely distinguishable ones on either side. Should I hold out any hope for a girl?

I have the male version of that same coloring you can see the difference easy

Well there he is from behind. From the front his chest is mostly black but spotted with white. Your bird is a beautiful girl.

No idea. Got him out of a bin at tractor supply. No beard, green legs, pea comb, interesting color scheme for sure though. I can't keep him... I'm keeping another Cockerel I grabbed in the same bunch. Got 6 chicks, 2 were girls, and out of 6 chick's only one has a beard. I don't the look of the non bearded ee half as much.

Any help would be appreciated! I was thinking the grey one Spaz was a puller and the brown one might actually be a boy. Not the best pictures they are about 3-4 months old here.

If the little brown one isn't a roo than she is going to be one dominant hen. Always running around with the cheek feathers puffed out. My grey one is the exact opposite, layer back on rarely puffs her/his feathers.

How old are they exactly? 3 mos = 12 weeks or 4 months = 16-17 weeks.

The reason I ask is that if it's really 4 months (16-17 weeks), then there is a small chance that your grey (blue) one is a girl. As girls mature, the combs get larger. But if it's 3 months, then it's a boy. Your other chicken is a boy for sure. However, my guess is that both of them are boys.

I do not have an exact age on these they were given to me by my neighbor and she just had a guess on age. Got them at tractor supply before Easter but not sure when. I think I will hold out hope till he grows on the grey one lol!
