Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I'm guessing she only has one beard gene but her brother has 2 and his beard is huge. But the beard is the same color "greyish white".

I have some that have the ''half beard'' look too. like this pullet:

Her mother is beardless and has yellow legs unseal for an Easter egger, but her father is full bearded and blue legged. All her siblings are half bearded, and her sisters all have blue legs and her brothers are yellow legged with blue tinting.

Hi all, Paul from down under here again. So I have had my two green eggs hatch, now 5 days old and I was told they were Arunacuna eggs but in Australia they could be EE's or someone even suggested ameraucana. So my question is, what does everything think I have. Ones black and the other is starting to turn lavender, no comb whatsoever and really pointy wings for young birds.

If anyone can assist that would be great!!

Congrats on the hatch, Paul. Mystery chicks! Do they have pea combs? EE leg color is often green, but I can't tell from the pics. Hatching from green eggs means they are probably already a mix. Say the mama hen laying the green eggs is 50% UK Araucana (therefore EE) and she was bred by a rooster without Aracauna blood, the chicks could be as little as 25% Ara. Their cheeks look nice and fluffy though, a good sign for having muffs.

You'll have to post in a few weeks so we can see how they look. Any signs of crests on them?

No signs of crests at all. But very long wing tips from day 1 which I hope means hens, so I have heard

My EE Tyrion had her 1st molt this fall. It was rough! I thought she'd never look pretty again. Here she is yesterday with her new look. She added a little brownish hue. She no longer has white on her chest. Instead the chest feathers have a brownish gray pattern with white lacing on the edges. It's a really neat effect.
