Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I apologize in advance for the pics I'm about to post, but my nice camera isn't working right now- this camera phone will have to do for now. These are my 4 EE- 3 chipmonk colors and 1 black.

These are of Gemma. (The black feathered behind her is Esmeralda)

Gemma is in the front and the black feathered one is Esmeralda.

This big brown chipmonk one is Pickles- she grew faster than all the rest and all ready has tail feathers.

Pickles also is the mean one in the box.

So today my EE are 3 weeks old, and I am still curious on their genders. I noticed that 2 EE have adorable puffy cheeks and the other 2 don't. The other two are the ones I suspect are males. Is the puffy cheeks a sign of girls and flat cheeks a sign of boys?

No, beards and muffs don't indicate sex. The pics are cute, but still too early to tell. What makes you think Stretch is a boy?

The chick is so stretched out, long and tall. Always standing upright. The chicks feet are bigger and taller. The chicks breast bone feels different. The rest feel- full breast and rounded. I feel this one's breast bone right away and it feels brittle. Lastly, the chick is feathering up much slower than the others.

I noticed today, that Stretch is just as consistant on feather patterns as Pickles- (the pullet). However, Gemma has 4 brown spots/splotches on her back. The brown is the color of clay soil so kinda red/ kinda brown. Would that be the pattern that indicates Roo?
