I'm also trying to figure out if my Easter Egger is a hen or rooster...

4wks is kind of early, but it's a stumpy little bird, nonetheless. comb says roo, but everything else looks female (esp that salmon breast). Repost it in a couple weeks and it should be more clear.

The one you think is a pullet is. The other one is also a pullet. She has a salmon colored breast.
How old are they? (If they are much younger than I think, there is a chance the darker could change.)

Thanks! They are about 2 months old. I am hoping they are both pullets.

Oh gosh I hope not. Lol. Started out with 12 pullets, we lost two. I was petty sure the EE was a rooster, and we were going to keep him, I don't think we would have enough hens and space for another rooster.

From my experience that looks like the color if a cockerel. I don't want to say for sure right now though. Fingers crossed for a pullet.

Sorry but I'm going roo on this as well. That is a lot of comb for a 4 week old EE.
