Here is one of my 3 Easter Eggers I'm not sure about. I will post the others as I am able to get decent pics of them. We are new to chickens :)

This one is my son's favorite. Hoping it's a strange coloring for a girl. It has always been standoffish and doesn't like handled. No reddish brown coloring yet that I see anywhere. All black and white. Tail feathers are a bit longer than the other two we picked up at the same time. Feathers around neck and tail still seem rounded.

Any insight anyone has on these is greatly appreciated. We are trying to sort out how many keepers (hens) we have so we know if we should pick up a few more. Thanks

The color is coming kind of patchy and the comb seems a little thick. It might be a boy, you should know in another two weeks.

#2 is a pullet.

This is #2

#3 is probably a rooster. He has a small, but well defined pea comb and big patches of white.
And #3, Henrietta.

Thanks so much for your knowledge... I'm still going to try and hold it a little hope for a pullet out of one of those two possible roos. Crossing fingers:fl
But you told me what I was already thinking and hoping not to see.

My son wanted barred rocks, like a friend had.. we bought some.. Or so we thought. They ended up being Mis-labeled Australorps. Then he fell in love with Henrietta, the white one who may actually be Henry. Can't keep a rooster here in town. So much for getting it right.

Back in February, I picked up 8 EE's from Ace Hardware. I specifically picked what I believed were 7 pullets and one cockerel and so far, it looked like that's what I got (the one I picked as a boy is definitely a boy). Today, I was looking at one of the pullets and I'm starting ot have some niggling doubts. She walks very upright, compared to the others and I think I'm seeing darker reddish patches on the orange. There's another pullet with very similar coloring. The individual pics are blurry and she/he is the one on the far left of the group picture.
